Three men arrested after a stop check by officers in Handforth have been released under investigation.
At around 8.40pm on Thursday 29 April officers stopped a silver Volkswagen Golf on Wilmslow Road.
The occupants of the car fled the scene. Three men were detained by officers a short time later.
