Thousands of people flocked to Kirkcudbright over the weekend for the town’s popular country fair.
Held at The Carse on the outskirts of the town, it was headlined by the Vander Superheroes Space Wheel Show and the RPM Bike Trials Display team. Other attractions included kids entertainment and sheep dog displays.
Summer Festivities chairman John Blaikie said: “We had a brilliant weekend. It was the best country fair ever. The weather helps make it.
“We had about three or four thousand people over the two days. It gets more and more each time – I think people come and then tell their friends about it and they come. It was all positive, we had no complaints.”
The first of the summer festivities’ Scottish Nights takes place in Harbour Square tonight, continuing every Thursday until the end of August. Later this month there will be the art and crafts trail and also emergency services day.
