This Morning viewers were left asking 'why' and claimed to be reaching for their remotes after tuning into the latest episode. Rochelle Humes and Andi Peters were back fronting the ITV daytime show on Wednesday (August 30).
And the pair were in the mood to celebrate as they were informed that today marks 'One Direction Day'. For those unfamiliar, it was on this day 14 years ago that the wider world was introduced to Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik for the very first time, as they made their debut as One Direction on The X Factor.
To mark the occasion, Rochelle and Andi were seen dancing at different parts of the show as tracks from the famous five-piece's five-year chart reign as they played out into the This Morning studio before the official segment aired.

In it, the pair were heard taking a look at where the boyband are now, with each member having gone on to launch their own solo career after the group disbanded in 2015 and also shared some exclusive, never-before-seen footage of the boys from their X Factor days.
"They're one of the most successful boybands of all time boasting seven number one albums and countless award," Rochelle started by saying. "But did you know, nobody knew but someone who works on our time, on this exact day in 2010 we met Niall, Liam, Harry, Louis and Zayn for the first time as they made their debut as One Direction on The X Factor," Andi added.
