This Morning's Holly Willoughby has responded to recent rumours about a feud between herself and co-presenter Phillip Schofield.
Tabloids previously reported tensions between Phil and Holly, as well as between Phil and presenter Ruth Langsford, which ITV denied in December last year.
"It's deeply disappointing and unfair for Phillip to be the target of this sort of malicious gossip," an ITV spokesperson said at the time.

Phillip Schofield bravely announced he was gay this morning.The TV presenter originally revealed the news on his Instagram account before taking to the This Morning sofa to pay emotional tribute to his family and friends for their support. Speaking about his announcement, which he claimed has been something that has been ‘consuming for the last few years’, he revealed it was his brave This Morning guests who inspired his decision to come out.
Thursday’s episode of This Morning opened with Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield joined by two alpaca’s called Spitfire and Pete. Holly kept her distance from the alpacas as she stood a bit away from Phillip, who held onto them by ropes.
Holly Willoughby has denied that she and Phillip Schofield have been locked in a secret feud, saying it would be impossible for them to fake their on-screen chemistry. Holly, 38, and Phillip, 57, have presented This Morning together since 2009 and are so close that they even go on holidays together, along with their families, during their breaks from the daytime show.
