It's been a tough year for This Morning, with the show seeing more presenter switch ups in the last six months than it has over its three decade plus run. Just yesterday, national treasure Holly Willoughby shocked the nation by stepping down from her role after 14 years as she said goodbye to the iconic sofa for good.
The 42 year took to Instagram to announce her departure, sharing that she made the decision for "me and my family." But of course, long before Holly arrived on the scene, This Morning was home to a string of iconic presenters, some who served long stints and others who swiftly moved on to pastures new.
From Colleen Nolan and Twiggy (we bet you forgot about that one) to the show's OG duo of Richard and Judy, let's take a look back at the former This Morning hosts... Richard & Judy: 1988-2001 Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan were the original presenters of This Morning when it first launched in 1988 in Liverpool's Albert Dock.
The husband and wife duo made the move to London's Southbank with the show in 1996, and fronted the daytime programme until 2001, when they decided to move on.
These days, Richard is a presenter on Good Morning Britain, while Judy retired from the spotlight to write novels.
The two are also doting grandparents, thanks to their daughter Chloe welcoming her first child, a daughter Bodhi, with her husband James Haskell last year. Richard and Judy's son, Jack, is also a father to a son called Kit who was born in 2018.
Plus, Judy has twins from her previous marriage, Dan and Tom, who were born in 1977. Caron Keating: 1998-1999 Like Eamonn and Ruth used to, Caron Keating joined the presenting line up on Fridays when Richard and Judy were off.
