It was a surprising start to ITV This Morning today (September 26) as presenter Alison Hammond had her script torn up and discovered all the surprises would actually be directed towards her instead. Hosts Holly Willoughby and Philip Schofield opened the show by heading live to Alison, 47, in Birmingham but, as she began to explain she was there to surprise an "On Your Doorstep" contestant named "Alison", the tables were unexpectedly turned.
