This Morning fans complain as Kate Garraway interview disrupted by loud noise

Kate Garraway’s interview on today’s This Morning, Thursday 24 February, was disrupted by what appeared to sound like a static issue. The Good Morning Britain host was discussing her new and emotional documentary about her husband Derek Draper’s ongoing battle with long Covid. The doting wife also touched upon her recent trip to Mexico with him, where they travelled 11,000 miles for his treatment.
Kate said: “[The trip] came at a really low point, but I thought, God, this is not sustainable. I don’t believe we can have 24 hour care forever. You know, there’s a point where money runs out." She went on: “If there isn’t the structure there to help long term, what are we actually going to do? I can’t give up, I can’t give up on him.” The mum-of-two further explained that as a result of her first documentary Finding Derek, a doctor got in touch with them and offered them a chance to come to Mexico for Derek to be used as a test case.
However, as Kate candidly opened up about caring for Derek and their trip abroad, an undeniably distracting interference sound could be heard over her.This Morning viewers were quick to take to social media to express their disdain.
