With City able to move two points clear of Arsenal if they win their two games in hand, former United man Neville believes the Blues are 'sure about themselves' as they enter the business end of the campaign.
Speaking on Sky Sports, he said: "They’re sort of a steamroller, they just keep on going, City. They’re such a powerhouse, they’ve been here before, experienced, I think they will be looking forward to that game that’s coming at the Etihad next week.
"The fact they’ve got a favour from Liverpool and West Ham maybe will give them far more confidence than they already have. I think City are just sure about themselves anyway."
The Blues, who have won their last six matches in the Premier League, will be confident of leapfrogging the Gunners in the table.
