These 16 Netflix Originals Have All Been Removed from the Streaming Service

Netflix has revealed the list of movies and television shows that are being removed from the streaming service beginning on September 1, 2022.

Brent Lang Executive Editor of Film and Media Sister has enlisted “Pitch Perfect” writer and “Blockers” director Kay Cannon to work with best-selling author Taylor Jenkins Reid on a new original comedy film. Cannon will direct the film with Reid co-writing the script. The film centers around four childhood pals who get a drunken voicemail from their former best friend on the eve of her wedding day — confessing that she thinks she’s making a mistake — and set out to stop her wedding and rekindle the bond they once shared.  Ashley Rodger will co-write the film and produce the picture alongside Reid, Sister’s Co-Founder and Global CEO Stacey Snider, Ilda Diffley, Joanna Korshak, Brad Mendlsohn, Cannon and Laverne McKinnon. Shooting will start in the second quarter of 2023.

Netflix is working on a “cloud gaming service” to go alongside its current mobile offering.Back in November 2021, Netflix released its Netflix Games App which offered five games, including two Stranger Things titles – Stranger Things: 1984 and Stranger Things 3: The Game – as well as Card Blast, Teeter Up, and Shooter Hoops. Currently the app offers 18 titles but according to a report, that number could be as high as 50 by the end of 2022.However, a new job listing suggests Netflix could also be working on a “cloud gaming service” like Xbox Game Pass or PlayStation Now.The company is hiring a senior software engineer with a focus on rendering engineering.“We are looking for a rendering engineer to support our cloud gaming service,” reads the listing.  “In this role, you will help optimise the rendering of games so we can render multiple games on our cloud gaming appliances.
