There’s no doubt that certain makeup techniques – such as winged liner or intricate eyeshadow looks – are tricky to master, despite the number of best eyeliners and TikTok tricks promising easy application. But these looks can be even more difficult for those with motor disabilities or visual impairments.
So we’re super excited about the launch of these smart new beauty tools, which make it easy for everyone to achieve flawless flicks every time. Kohl Kreatives’ Quickies Stickies, £9.99 here, are adhesive stencils that are placed on the eyelid and mark out the perfect makeup placement.
Simply attach the stickie, apply a powder or cream eyeshadow, or eyeliner, over the top (brand founder Trish Daswaney recommends using a dabbing motion rather than swiping), then peel off to reveal a precise shape. Each pack contains four sheets, and each sheet holds six pairs of stickers in a range of wing, heart and star shapes – they’re reusable too, if you peel them off carefully. The pack also comes with a tactile QR code which links to a “how to” video and audio guide, and the outer packaging is made from paper recycled from rice waste.
Kohl Kreatives also sells a selection of inclusive makeup brushes, starting from £8.99, with design features that make it simple for anyone to use, such as braille labelling, fully flexible brush heads and easy-to-grip handles. They’re perfect for creating some of 2022’s hottest makeup trends, or perhaps a Euphoria-inspired look. Proceeds from Kohl Kreatives' brush sales also go towards Kohl Kares, the brand's charity empowering people through the power of makeup.
