Theo James (The Gentlemen, The White Lotus) has been cast opposite Aaron Taylor-Johnson in Fuze, directed by David Mackenzie. Filming is set to begin at the beginning of July.
Written by Ben Hopkins, Fuze opens on the discovery of an unexploded World War II bomb in a London construction site sparking a mass evacuation the perfect cover for a heist.
The film is produced by Gillian Berrie (Outlaw King, Tetris) for Sigma Films and Sebastien Raybaud (The End We Start From, Greenland) and Callum Grant (Jackdaw, Cleaner) for Anton. Anton is fully financing the film. UTA Independent Film Group and WME Independent will co-rep the US rights with Anton.
James is an Emmy Award nominee for his role in HBO’s The White Lotus. He can currently be seen in Guy Ritchie’s The Gentlemen for Netflix. His next starring, feature role, Stephen King’s The Monkey, sold to Neon out of the Cannes market in a heated bidding war. He is best known for bringing to life the character of Tobias “Four” Eaton in the Divergent film trilogy. Additionally, James starred in the 2022 period drama Mr. Malcolm’s List opposite Freida Pinto, Sope Dirisu, and Zawe Ashton, among others.

DJ Mag, the new law took effect on May 11, where popular tourist destinations such as Ibiza’s San Antonio and Mallorca’s Magaluf will have new sanctions on alcohol purchase and consumption placed on them.The ban on alcohol sales will reportedly take effect between 9:30pm and 8am in party hotspots, adding onto past legislation passed by the Balearic government four years ago. The ban, which was allegedly pushed by local authorities, will take place until at least December 2027.If caught drinking outside of designated areas, people could face fines between €500-1,500 (£430-1290), the BBC adds.
