Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh, and husband of Queen Elizabeth II, died “peacefully” at Windsor Castle in England on April 9, according to Buckingham Palace. Though no cause of death was immediately given, the 99-year-old member of the British Royal Family had been plagued by several ailments in recent years and was hospitalized in February.
Tributes are pouring in today for the Duke of Edinburgh Prince Philip, who has died at the age of 99.
