The Weeknd is making an announcement about his career.
During a concert in Warsaw, Poland on Tuesday (August 8), the 33-year-old musician told fans that he would not collaborating with other artists in the future – with one notable exception.

“This next song I’m about to perform is an unreleased record. I haven’t dropped it yet,” he said during the performance.
“It’s called ‘Another One of Me’”, he continued. “But I just want to say this is gonna be the last feature I ever do, ever, in my career so I want to perform it for you guys tonight.”
The Weeknd shared the clip on Twitter later in the week, captioning the video: “The final feature… unless daft punk ever get back together.”
A rep told Entertainment Weekly that the star “will not be doing any more features for his music career (unless daft punk regroup!)” and added that the release date for the new track isn’t ready to be revealed yet.
The Weeknd actually collaborated with Bad Bunny and Travis Scott for a new song called “K-Pop”, which appeared on the latter artist’s new album Utopia. Listen to the track here.

The Weeknd has sued Live Nation and claims he was run over by a forklift while setting up for a show in Dallas, Texas.As reported by Pitchfork, Steve Genovese is suing the company for an incident he alleges took place during preparations for a show on Abel Tesfaye’s tour in August 2022.The lawsuit reads: “While marking the floor for the stage dimensions, [Genovese] was run over by a forklift which was being operated by another worker on site.“As a result, [he] suffered severe, excruciatingly painful and permanently disabling injuries to his leg.
