"What We Become," in the tradition of last Walking Dead episodes "What Happened and What's Going On" and "What Comes After" before it, had hallucinations as its emotional power source, as Michonne imagined what her life would have been like if she had never met Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) and his crew.
