Blood Orange has announced a new EP titled ‘Four Songs’ that is set to arrive later this month.Upon its release on September 16, ‘Four Songs’ will mark Blood Orange’s — real name Dev Hynes — first project with his new label, RCA Records. Contributors on the forthcoming EP include Eva Tolkin, Erika de Casier and Brooklyn singer-songwriter Ian Isiah.Hynes has previewed ‘Four Songs’ by sharing the EP’s self-produced opener, ‘Jesus Freak Lighter’.

Drahla have returned today (August 22) with their new single ‘Under The Glass’, their first new music in three years.The new music comes alongside details of the band’s first UK tour since 2019, which kicks off in Brighton next month. The New York Film Festival on Tuesday revealed its Spotlight section lineup, which includes the world premiere of She Said, Universal’s drama based on the work of New York Times reporters Jodi Kantor and Megan Twohey who investigated and wrote the bombshell 2017 Harvey Weinstein sexual abuse story.

It follows “Martin Eden,” which competed at Venice, won best actor for Luca Marinelli and went on to play at Toronto.Marcello, who rose to prominence as a documentarian with his film “The Mouth of the Wolf,” penned the script for “Scarlet” with his regular screenwriting partner Maurizio Braucci (“Martin Eden”) and Maud Ameline, with the participation of novelist Geneviève Brisac.

Pixies have shared the latest preview of their forthcoming eighth album, ‘Doggerel’ – an equally smoky and melodic cut of alt-rock titled ‘Vault Of Heaven’ – announcing with it a short run of US tour dates.The song itself features an allusion to a bad drug trip and copious references to 7-Eleven, as Black Francis (aka Frank Black) sings in the first verse: “There in the vault of heaven / While trying to titrate / I ended up in… / Another case.
