Mark Sheehan, the Script Guitarist and Co-Founder, Dies at 46
Sophia Scorziello editor Mark Sheehan, guitarist and co-founder of Irish rock band the Script, has died after a short, undisclosed illness. He was 46. The band announced the news on social media Friday, writing: “Much loved husband, father, brother, band mate and friend Mark Sheehan passed away today in hospital after a brief illness. In 2001, he formed the Script alongside lead singer and longtime friend Danny O’Donoghue. The two had previously played together in Mytown, another Irish band formed in 1996.
