Grant Shapps has announced that fully vaccinated UK residents no longer need to self-isolate on their return from amber list countries from July 19.
The Transport Secretary unveiled the new rules in a statement in the Commons on Thursday.
Mr Shapps began by saying that he does not underestimate how difficult the past 16 months have been for people who have been unable to travel to see family.

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association said Wednesday that it has amended its eligibility guidelines for “future” Golden Globe Award shows and events, including one that will allow foreign-language films as well as animated films to compete in its Best Motion Picture categories.
