In a first for a pro sports league, Major League Baseball unveiled a new virtual ballpark designed to give baseball fans a simulated experience of what it’s like visit an MLB stadium — all without spending hundreds of dollars on tickets. MLB’s virtual ballpark will open to fans on Saturday, July 8, with a special online watch party for the MLB All-Star Celebrity Softball Game presented on the virtual ballpark’s videoboard. The lineup of participating celebrities includes social media star JoJo Siwa, actors Adam Devine and Skylar Astin, Olympic athlete Chloe Kim, and more — and will include exclusive celebrity interviews available only in the virtual ballpark. According to the league, the digital viewing party is the first of multiple events planned for the virtual ballpark in 2023.

Actor and comedian Adam DeVine has the support of his extended family — even when it's slightly awkward! ET's Will Marfuggi spoke with DeVine at the premiere of his latest film, , where he recalled bringing his mother-in-law to a movie premiere that featured him in a nude scene. DeVine married fellow actor Chloe Bridges in October 2011, but before the pair tied the knot, DeVine brought Bridges' mother to the premiere of his action-comedy  in 2018.When asked, «Is there anything that you were hoping to keep a secret from your in-laws when you first met them?,» DeVine sarcastically responded, «My entire career.»«No, I'm kind of an open book,» DeVine revealed. «I took my mother-in-law to the premiere and I show my penis and butthole in that movie.

Adam Sandler and wife Jackie Sandler stepped out at a screening of Netflix's  on Monday, accompanied by someone special: their teenage daughter, Sunny. The couple posed on the red carpet with their 14-year-old daughter and were all smiles as they were photographed alongside one of the crime comedy's stars, Nina Dobrev. The Sandler trio also stepped in for pictures with the movie's full cast, which features Adam DeVine, Pierce Brosnan and Ellen Barkin. While Sandler does not appear in this Netflix film, he is a producer on the project. The event marks a rare public appearance for the couple's younger daughter, who was last spotted with her famous parents in Paris for the premiere of  in March.

Leo Barraclough International Features Editor “The Conners” and “The Righteous Gemstones” star John Goodman says he misses his “Roseanne” co-star Roseanne Barr, but he’s not sure he’d work with her again. Hit sitcom “Roseanne” was canceled by ABC in 2018 after a racially-charged tweet by Barr about Valerie Jarrett, an African-American woman who was a senior adviser to Barack Obama throughout his presidency. Barr later apologized. Later that year, Goodman told the Sunday Times: “I was surprised at the response. And that’s probably all I should say about that … I know for a fact that she’s not a racist.” He added that Barr was “going through hell.” Barr then thanked Goodman “for speaking truth about me.”

If there’s a silver lining to your favorite show taking three years off between seasons, it’s that I’ve had plenty of time to get people into “Warrior.” I’ve always pitched Max’s period action series as a West Coast version of “Gangs of New York,” one that weaves together historiography and spectacle in equal measures and features some of the most talented Asian-American actors in the industry today.

Fans — and, one presumes, the network — were left with a vacuum the next seasons of “The White Lotus” and “House of the Dragon” are too far off to fill. Fortunately, a show that combines the best of both its erstwhile peers returns June 18 for a third season. “The Righteous Gemstones” remains consistent in its outrageous opulence and crude humor, but its latest chapter is unusually well timed. Like “Succession,” “The Righteous Gemstones” follows a family poisoned by wealth and power at a crucial inflection point; like “Barry,” the show has a visual panache that defies our expectations for a half-hour comedy. But unlike either show, “The Righteous Gemstones” resists the impulse to justify its grandeur with dramatic or tragic Jake elements. The Gemstones are not the Roys, forced to confront the emotional poverty beneath their material riches, nor Barry Berkman, scrambling for redemption without real accountability. They’re buffoons, their idiocy only amplified by the motorcycle chases, musical sequences and megachurch sermons that immerse us in their world. The straightforward comic tone doesn’t detract from the sharp observations made by creator Danny McBride and longtime collaborators including Jody Hill, John Carcieri and David Gordon Green. Instead, it channels their insights into masculinity, the South and American conservatism, previously honed on “Vice Principals” and “Eastbound & Down.”

Billy Porter may soon have a chance at an Oscar with an upcoming biopic about renowned author and civil rights icon James Baldwin. The star is not only set to portray Baldwin, but he has also been tapped to co-write the upcoming film alongside Dan McCabe.
