But now Mann fans know when his biopic will have its North American premiere: as the closing film of the New York Film Festival on October 13.

The Kills have released dual singles ‘New York’ and ‘LA Hex’, marking their first new music in seven years.The rock duo – consisting of Alison Mosshart and Jamie Hince – have returned with ‘New York’, a dark and heavy track which features The Kills’ signature style with its sticky guitar riff and Mosshart’s iconic croon. ‘LA Hex’ is a brighter tune that includes layered warp trumpets over a glitchy, captivating beat.Both singles have accompanying videos directed by Andrew Theodore Balasia.

It’s maddening.”She added: “They’re telling us, ‘Oh, we can’t pay you this much, because we’re pinching pennies’.“But then Netflix is telling their shareholders that they’re making more than they’ve ever made.

That’s coasting time. Yet that’s exactly what happened with the final six shows on Elvis Costello & the Imposters’ “We’re All Going on a Summer Holiday Tour,” where no one who saw any of the first 17 gigs on the outing would have much recognized how things transpired in the final half-dozen. It was all due to the transformative presence of a three-man horn section, which the advertising had accurately promised would only be showing up for the tour coda. What was unexpected was just how thoroughly Costello retooled the whole show to build it around these new brass arrangements, discarding certain set staples and adding new ones to show just what different flavors could be realized with horns o’ plenty.

In Los Angeles, 8 sites were announced, including Warner Bros., Amazon / Culver Studios, Fox, Paramount, Netflix, Sunset / Gower, Disney and Sony. Corporate greed was at the center of messaging on day one of joint picketing from SAG-AFTRA and the WGA. When the bus carrying SAG-AFTRA president Fran Drescher and the rest negotiating committee arrived outside of Netflix offices, they were mobbed by media and fellow protesters as they inched their way down the sidewalk along Sunset Boulevard.
