Sufjan Stevens has announced a new collaborative album with his stepfather Lowell Brams (aka the Lowell of Carrie & Lowell). It’s called Aporia and it’s out March 27 on Asthmatic Kitty, the label that Stevens and Brams founded together. New York experimental quartet altopalo have announced their sophomore album. It’s called farawayfromeveryoneyouknow and it arrives April 24 via Samedi. Ahead of the new record, they’ve shared the new single “honey,” as well as a string of North American tour dates. ScHoolboy Q took nearly three years between the release of 2016’s Blank Face LP and 2019’s CrasH Talk, but fans won’t have to wait nearly as long for his next release. During a recent show, the California rapper revealed that he plans to release a new project in 2020.

Since Mac Miller’s posthumous album, “Circles,” came out Friday, many fans have been convinced they heard Ariana Grande’s voice on the track “I Can See.” The late rapper’s reps responded to queries with a “no comment.” Now, his ex-girlfriend’s vocal cameo has been confirmed — or equivocally confirmed, at least — by the record’s producer, Jon Brion.
