Promising Young Woman has been the film on everyone’s lips in recent months. It’s been nominated for five Oscars and six BAFTAs and yet we haven’t been able to see it.
The first trailer for the Carey Mulligan film landed in late 2019, but it still hasn’t arrived in Irish cinemas. Understandably, the decision had to be made to release it in a more modern way.
So rather than getting a theatrical debut in Ireland, it is set to land on streaming services in the coming weeks.
