The Masked Singer is back!
Season nine of the hit FOX singing competition series premiere on Wednesday night (February 15) with returning host Nick Cannon and panelists Nicole Scherzinger, Ken Jeong, Robin Thicke, and Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg.
During the premiere, the first three performers – Mustang, Gnome, and Medusa – hit the stage for their first performance.
At the end of the episode, two of the contestants were unmasked and sent home while the winner of the episode is advancing to next week.
This masked celebs this season boast a combined 28 Emmy nominations, six Grammy wins, 10 gold albums, four Golden Globe nominations, five medals, 26 books, two Tony Award nominations, five Lifetime Achievement Awards, four stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and a combined 95,231,000 records sold.

Following weeks of singing Jacket Potatoes and Otters, this weekend finally saw Rhino crowned winner of the fourth series of The Masked Singer. While judges Mo Gilligan and Jonathan Ross had been sure that the mystery voice belonged to James Arthur, fellow judges Rita Ora and Davina McCall, alongside a whole host of viewers at home, were correct in guessing that it was Busted singer Charlie Simpson all along. Speaking of his time on the show, the musician explained: “I was terrified the entire time.The thing I was scared most of was remembering lyrics.
Charlie Simpson has been announced as the winner of The Masked Singer 2023.The Busted star, 37, was unveiled to be the singer behind the Rhino costume on the hit ITV show after it was revealed he'd beaten Phoenix and Fawn in the grand final, which aired on Saturday 18 February. Judges Rita Ora and Davina McCall had both guessed it was Charlie behind the mask, while Mo Gilligan and Jonathan Ross had been sure it was X Factor star James Arthur performing on the show.
The Masked Singer's Fawn was finally unmasked during the grand finale of the hit ITV show, with 90s pop icon Natalie Appleton revealed to be behind the mask.The All Saints singer, 49, came in third place on the show, leaving Rhino and Phoenix to battle it out to be crowned the winner of the series. The judges were left shocked when Natalie took her mask off, with no one guessing her throughout the series.
Kaiser Chiefs frontman Ricky Wilson has been unveiled as Phoenix during the finale of The Masked Singer.The singer, 45, came runner-up on the ITV show to Rhino during Saturday’s final following a vote from the studio audience. Following his reveal, judge Rita Ora was in shock as she has worked alongside Wilson in the past, adding: “If you sang how you sing I would have got you in a second.” The singer also said he was “very pleased” to be mistaken for actor David Tennant by judge Davina McCall.
The Masked Singer fans have been battling it out on social media ahead of the grand finale of the 2023 series tonight, which will see the final three characters unmasked. Dick Van Dyke proved he's still got it. The 97-year-old was one of the stars unmasked during the premiere episode of Fox's "The Masked Singer" Wednesday night. Van Dyke was singing as the Gnome, and as he revealed his identity host Nick Cannon remarked, "We are in the presence of an icon, ladies and gentlemen." The audience and the panel of judges seemed stunned to see the legendary actor on stage. Nicole Scherzinger burst into tears as the rest of the panel, Jenny McCarthy, Robin Thicke and Ken Jeong, stood on the desk for a standing ovation.
