The Mandalorian Season 3 trailer shows Din Djarin and Grogu back in action, but many fans are wondering why Din and Grogu reunited. The finale episode of Season 2 of the Mandalorian had Luke Skywalker taking Grogu to be trained as a Jedi. So why in The Mandalorian Season 3 will he be back with Din Djarin? With Grogu going with Luke, Din’s quest was over and he was free to go back to doing whatever he wanted.
It made sense for Din who now possesses The Darksaber to move on from Grogu and take on his new responsibilities. Well if you watched The Book Of Boba Fett you already know what Din and Grogu are back at it. If you haven’t watched TBOB, basically Luke gave Grogu a choice. He could either pick a lightsaber and train to become a Jedi.
Or He could pick the armor Mando made for him and return to Din Djarin. With Grogu and Din’s bond being so strong it was an obvious choice for the little green foundling. According to Forbes.com, The Book Of Boba Fett is basically The Mandalorian Season 2.5. With Din and Grogu back together, what kind of adventures will the two get into now? Well from what we get in the latest trailer.
In The Mandalorian Season 3, it seems like Din will go to Mandalore. Mandalore is the homeworld of all Mandalorians. Unfortunately, it was destroyed by the Galactic Empire during The Night of A Thousand tears. The trailers are also setting up Bo-Katan to be a possible “villain” for The Mandalorian Season 3.
Bo has always wanted to rule Mandalore and without The Darksaber that is pretty much impossible. What will Bo-Katan do to get The Darksaber from Din? Will Din have other Mandalorians start to follow him? It will be very interesting to see if Din Djarin will take on the role of Ruler of Mandalore. At

From the beginning, the main criticism on Lucasfilm’s “The Mandalorian,” a show about Mandalorian Bounty Hunter, Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal), and the little Baby Yoda creature he’s been tasked with protecting, Grogu, was that the series was very episodic. After coming into contact with Grogu and becoming his ward in a fascinating “Lone Wolf and Cub”-like dynamic, that initially felt fresh and like a strange “Star Wars” Western, “The Mandalorian” quickly settled into a familiar pattern.

Adam B. Vary Senior Entertainment Writer In the Season 2 finale of “The Mandalorian” — which first streamed on Disney+ on Dec. 18, 2020, over two years ago — Mando (Pedro Pascal) bid a moving farewell to Grogu, handing over his adorably wee ward to Grogu’s new Jedi master, Luke Skywalker (played by a digitally de-aged Mark Hamill). The wrenching final scene culminated in Mando removing his helmet — violating the core precept of Mandalorian doctrine — so Grogu could see his face for the first time. It felt like the definitive end of a two-season journey, one painstakingly crafted by executive producers Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni to reset the show and send it into a new storytelling galaxy. As the trailers for Season 3 of “The Mandalorian” have already made clear, however, the new season will begin on March 1 with Mando and Grogu back together. It’s almost as if the events of the Season 2 finale hadn’t happened.

The third season of “The Mandalorian” officially arrives on Disney+ this Wednesday, March 1. The third season will take place following the events of “The Book of Boba Fett,” in which “Mandalorian” lead Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) was last seen reuniting with Grogu in the miniseries. The two then left Tatooine, with Mando heading to the planet Mandalore to restore his honor and become a Mandalorian again. In a trailer released in January, Pascal’s Din Djarin and budding Jedi warrior Grogu are seen journeying across a galaxy far, far away, facing threats from Mandalore and the bustling urban planet Coruscant. Another teaser released in September showed Mando facing off against several armored warriors in their homeworld.
The Mandalorian have revealed how season three will deal with the departure of Gina Carano. The actor was fired from the Disney+ Star Wars spinoff series after making posts on social media that the company deemed “abhorrent and unacceptable”.Executive producer Rick Famuyiwa has now told Deadline that Carano’s character Cara Dune was a “big part” of the series.“Cara was a big part and continues as a character to be part of the world. It had to be addressed in the creative and [Jon Favreau] took the time to think about that,” Famuyiwa said.“It was something that was discussed as we knew it was going to have impact on the show, but at the same time, what has been at the heart of the show are the two characters — Din Djarin and Grogu — so ultimately it felt like a servicing of that, and around the Mandalorians.”Asked whether Cara Dune could return, fellow producer Dave Filoni added: “It’s a big galaxy and we have many characters in it — many characters are fighting for their screen time.

We are just a week away from the debut of Season 3 of the hit Disney+ series, “The Mandalorian.” The first, and most popular, live-action “Star Wars” series on the streamer is set to continue the story of a lone warrior and his little friend as they travel around the galaxy and get into all sorts of hijinks. But even though Season 3 has yet to even debut, series showrunner Jon Favreau is already teasing the fact that Season 4 is already written.
Zack Sharf “The Mandalorian” is about to launch its long-awaited third season next month, but creator Jon Favreau recently confirmed to BFM TV that scrips for Season 4 are already written and waiting to be shot. Disney and Lucasfilm have not yet officially announced a fourth season. Favreau announced he wrote Season 4 scripts during Season 3 post-production, stressing that it’s essential the scripts be done so that the series can continue to fit into and anchor the larger framework of the “Star Wars” universe. There are a handful of new “Star Wars” series on the way, including the highly-anticipated “Ahsoka.” “Season 4, yeah I’ve written it already,” Favreau said. “We have to know where we’re going to tell a fully formed story. We had mapped it out, Dave [Filoni] and I, and slowly you start to write each episode. I was writing it during post-production. All of it has to feel like a continuation and one full story.”
“The Mandalorian” Season 3 arrives in a few weeks, but Season 4 of the Disney+ series has already been written. There’s the possibly apocryphal tale that Jon Favreau had already written several scripts for the breakout live-action “Star Wars” series before it was even properly greenlit for Disney+, and ever since he has worked at a furious pace, overseeing several seasons of “The Mandalorian” and much of the related output like “The Book of Boba Fett.” And in a new interview with a French outlet (which you can watch below), Favreau lets it slip that the fourth season of the ”Star Wars” series has already been written and is ready to go.“We have to know where we’re going to tell a fully formed story,” Favreau told BFM TV. “We had mapped it out, Dave [Filoni] and I, and slowly you start to write each episode.
