‘The Lovebirds’ Review: Dir. Michael Showalter (2020)

The stars of Coronation Street were seen arriving on set today as the soap resumed filming following lockdown.The hit ITV soap were unable to make new episodes for 11 weeks due to the coronavirus crisis continuing to sweep the globe. But production is now underway, with a number of the show's cast photographed making their way to the soap's set in Manchester.

Back in 2018, Michael B. Jordan’s production company, Outlier Society Productions, joined the growing movement to support inclusion riders in contracts, to help make Hollywood more inclusive.

In an attempt to combat the racial inequality in the USA, Michael B. Jordan called for Hollywood to invest in black staff during a protest.

Michael B. Jordan, 33, made an appearance at an L.A. area Black Lives Matter protest on June 6 and insisted Hollywood must “commit to black hiring” in a memorable speech. The actor showed up to the protest, which was organized by the Big 4 agencies in Century City, and called out Tinseltown by encouraging them to put their words into action and get more African Americans jobs. He was surrounded by other protesters when he spoke about the important issue.

“Prince” Michael Joseph Jackson, Jr., 23, didn’t have to look far to find inspirational words to bolster the Black Lives Matter movement. “’Beat me…Hate me…You can never break me.’ — Michael Jackson,” the late pop icon’s son posted on Instagram, quoting his dad’s 1995 anti-racism ode “They Don’t Care About Us.

How soon is now, is now, and the neon painted landscape strokes to the club beat. That night was more than a sweaty crowded dance floor your friends dragged you to—criminally packed bodies bumping, tossed together—searching for one another.

Poet and author Michael Rosen is out of intensive care after “a long and difficult” 47 days, his wife has said.

Foreigner premiered a new performance of their classic hit "I Want To Know What Love Is" on Friday (May 22) to celebrate the release of Netflix's new rom-com The Lovebirds.

Kumail Nanjiani and Issa Rae are a quarreling couple out to solve a murder, but the first movie directed by Michael Showalter since "The Big Sick" is a crime comedy that aims lower than it thinks.

One plus one can occasionally equal too much.

"Why is this guy funny?" is an impossible question to answer, but I think I've figured out why Kumail Nanjiani is guaranteed to get a guffaw outta me every time he opens his mouth. His on-screen persona, from Dinesh on Silicon Valley, to his schmoozes on talk shows and podcasts, is of a sharp, insightful and erudite person… who will then smash his cred into a thousand pieces saying something truly dumb. It's a simple enough gimmick, but it works on me every time.

Michel Piccoli has sadly passed away at the age of 94.
