Unfortunately, it doesn't look like movies coming out this summer will happen at a completely packed Regal theater any time soon, but that doesn't mean you can't enjoy the latest silver-screen offerings. Many big studios are adjusting to the times and making their latest titles available on-demand.

Marvel has officially pushed Scarlett Johansson's long-awaited solo film, Black Widow, to November 2020 in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic. It is taking over the slot originally earmarked for Marvel's The Eternals, and this has created a domino effect, pushing back every film in Phase Four except for the Black Panther sequel (you can see all the new release dates here).

Phase Four of Marvel's programming slate, which includes big blockbuster films and limited TV shows that will stream on Disney+, has been delayed as a result of the novel coronavirus. The COVID-19 pandemic pushed the release of Scarlett Johansson's Black Widow, the character's long-awaited solo film, from May until November. Unsurprisingly, this move then set off a domino effect for the rest of Phase Four, at least on the big screen.

HBO Max is launching on May 27, and in addition to the growing list of licensed titles that will be on offer to fans, WarnerMedia's new streaming service will also introduce some new original series and movies.

WarnerMedia is moving into the already-crowded streaming service market this May with HBO Max. The new streaming platform will combine titles from across the Warner Bros. film and TV library as well as introduce original films and series, but it will have to compete with established services like Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime, as well as CBS All Access, Disney+, Apple TV+, and NBCUniversal's Peacock.

Dr. Dre's seminal 1992 debut The Chronic is finally on streaming services. The album hit Tidal on Sunday and debuted on Apple Music and Spotify on Monday morning. Happy 4/20.

The executives behind HBO Max gave their first real preview of the new streaming service in late 2019, announcing its $14.99 subscription cost and the May 2020 launch. HBO Max also unveiled its slate of original programming. Some shows, like Kaley Cuoco's The Flight Attendant and the Gossip Girl sequel series, had been announced previously, but WarnerMedia made a couple of surprise announcements, including a Green Lantern TV series from Arrowverse mastermind Greg Berlanti.

Social distancing is seemingly becoming the new norm but luckily, you don’t need to leave your home for entertainment. Thanks to the multiple streaming services, some of the biggest movies of the last year are now available to watch from the comfort form your own home.
