The King: Eternal Monarch: Are these the reasons why Lee Min Ho starrer is witnessing low TV ratings?

Lee Min Ho was pleasantly surprised to have received a gift from his friend, South Korean actor Lee Jung Jea. The Cheif of Staff star sent the actor a blue coffee truck on the sets of The King: Eternal Monarch to shower Min Ho with support. The actor took to Instagram to share pictures of his gift. Min Ho stood by the stuck holding a cold-brewed coffee to share a glimpse of his gift with his fans on social media. 

Lee Min Ho takes our breath away every time he appears on the screen. The actor is currently colouring the small screen in the shades of regal with The King: Eternal Monarch. While he has already won fans over with his imperial persona, off-screen the actor has left his staff in splits. The South Korean actor took to Instagram to share a video featuring his team of women. The video sees him and his team enjoying a swirl of ice cream. 

There is finally some good news for fans of The King: Eternal Monarch. The SBS show has been struggling to stay sustain viewership every passing week. The graph has recurringly portraying weak numbers. With the premiere of The King: Eternal Monarch Episode 9, the Lee Min Ho and Kim Go Eun starrer recorded an all-time low rating, leaving fans a tad worried. However, there was a hint of light amid the dark clouds when The King: Eternal Monarch episode 10 aired. 

While Lee Gon (Lee Min Ho) and Jung Tae Eul (Kim Go Eun) started their alliance in order to take down Lee Rim (Lee Jung Jin), little did they know that their alliance will blossom into love. Yes, as both Lee Gon (Lee Min Ho) and Jung Tae Eul (Kim Go Eun) investigate Lee Rim’s case, and spend time with each other, as fate had it, they start to develop feelings for each another.

The King: Eternal Monarch has not been performing as per expectations. The SBS show had high hopes pinned to it. However, the ratings reveal the series hasn't lived up to fans' expectations. The King: Eternal Monarch aired its seventh and eighth episodes over the weekend. The Lee Min-Ho and Kim Go-Eun starrer unfolded several subplots, including Woo Du Hwan's Captain Jo Young crossing the bridge to the parallel universe and Min-Ho's Lee Gon inching a step closer to Lim Min's plans.

For 14 long years, Lee Min-Ho has time and again made our hearts skip a beat. The South Korean actor has played several roles on small screen shows. While one of his most popular series is The Heirs, he left us begging for more when he starred in K-Dramas like Legends of the Blue Sea, Boys Over Flowers and Faith. The actor continues to make us go weak in our knees as he stars in The King: Eternal Monarch. Over the weekend, fans of the actor marked his 14-year-long journey in the industry. 

The creators of The King: Eternal Monarch have released the trailer of the 7th episode of the show. In the previous episode, Emperor Lee Gon (Lee Min Ho) and Detective Jung Tae-eul (Kim Go Eun) shared various intimate moments. However, he is later called to perform his duty as a King when a surprise naval attack from Japan take place, putting an end to their dinner date. Meanwhile Tae-eul makes a major breakthrough in her murder case. Later in the episode, Lee Gon returns to Tae-eul.

The King: Eternal Monarch experienced a bittersweet weekend. The fantasy drama, which began on a high note, experienced a drop in numbers in its second weekend, as the K-Drama's third and fourth episode aired on April 24 and 25, respectively.

The sixth episode of The King: Eternal Monarch featured a war sequence between the Kingdom of Corea and Japan. The subplot unfolded to convey that the Japanese warships breached into Corea's waters and paved the way to war. The battle also saw Lee Min-Ho dressed up in a crisp white uniform to lead the navy. While fans couldn't stop gushing over the actor's look, many viewers were enraged by the battleship in the naval war shown in the parallel universe on the episode. 

The popular South Korean television series The King: Eternal Monarch starring Lee Min Ho and Kim Go-Eun premiered in April and became one of the household shows in no time. The fantasy romance drama revolves around Lee Min Ho as Emperor Lee Gon, trying to close the doors to a parallel world which was opened by demons while Kim Go-Eun as detective Jung Tae Eul leaves no stone unturned to protect the people and the one she loves.

The sun isn't shining so bright on The King: Eternal Monarch. Over the weekend, SBS dropped two new episodes of the Lee Min-Ho headlined South Korean drama series.

The King: Eternal Monarch released its 5th and 6th episodes over the weekend. The two episodes unfolded several subplots. This included Jung Tae Eul riding her way into Lee Gon's universe on the white horse, roaming around the streets of Seoul in the Kingdom of Corea, a war between Corea and Japan, a glimpse at Lee Rim's plans and the romance between Gon and Tae Eul finally blooming. While there are several talking points, Twitter managed to point a reference and lost their minds over it. 

The King: Eternal Monarch has experienced a bumpy start. However, Lee Min-Ho starrer has fans looking forward to the fifth episode. The King: Eternal Monarch ended with Lee Gon scooping off detective Jung Tae Eul from the Republic of Korea and taking her to the parallel universe he comes from. The trailer of The King: Eternal Monarch episode 5 reveals there is drama waiting to happen. In the short glimpse, a possible kiss between Gon and Tae Eul is teased. 

Forget my Prince Charming on a white horse, we want Lee Min-Ho on a white horse and we want him now! The South Korean actor made his television comeback with The King: Eternal Monarch earlier this month. With four episodes down, the actor and his white horse have been one of the biggest talking points of the show. While we cannot get enough of the on-screen king and his regal ride, a few lucky fans witnessed the actor riding the horse during the filming of the K-Drama.
