Kelly Clarkson is finally coming back.
The Kelly Clarkson Show will return to air on Monday October 16.
It becomes the latest daytime talk show to reveal its return following the writers strike; Sherri returned in September, The Jennifer Hudson Show returned on October 2 and The Talk will be back on October 9. The Drew Barrymore Show has not announced its return after its eponymous host came under attack for planning to return ahead of the end of the writers strike.
Clarkson’s return comes as the pop star has moved her show from LA to New York. The series will begin filming on October 10 from NBC Studios, shooting in 30 Rock in Studio 6A, which is the former home to Late Night when it was hosted by David Letterman, Conan O’Brien and Jimmy Fallon.
The Since U Been Gone star will be joined by her house band Y’All, led by music director Jason Halbert, and will have around 200 fans per show.
The Kelly Clarkson Show, which has been renewed through 2025, is produced by Universal Television and distributed in syndication by NBCUniversal Syndication Studios. Clarkson execs produces with Alex Duda, who also serves as showrunner.
