Sorry to disappoint some people, but you might not be seeing the Kar-Jenners at fashion’s biggest night this year!
For those who don’t know, Kim Kardashian made her debut at the Met Gala back in 2013 and has become a staple at the event ever since, along with her younger sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner and mom Kris Jenner. Sisters Khloé and Kourtney Kardashian didn’t get to hit the iconic Met Gala stairs until last year — marking the first time a majority of the reality TV family was on the red carpet together.
But it sounds like we won’t be getting a repeat! In fact, we’re hearing none of them are receiving an invitation to the Super Bowl of fashion! That’s right. We’re talking about ALL of them will not be allowed to the 2023 Met Gala!

According to Page Six on Wednesday, sources claimed that Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour decided to limit the guest list for the event — which takes place on May 1 with the theme “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty” — and the Kardashians won’t be invited! Talk about a snub!
In recent years, the Met Gala has been criticized for being swarmed with influencers like Addison Rae and Emma Chamberlain. So it’s not hard to believe Anna wanted to nip these criticisms in the bud and reinstate an air of exclusivity to the event once more. But why would she possibly remove the Keeping Up With the Kardashians alums from the guest list? We mean, they are some of the biggest names in Hollywood!
