Mancunians have been hailed as 'unbelievable' by a charity boss after donating hundreds of bags worth of essential items for Afghan refugees.
More than 1,000 displaced Afghan nationals have been accommodated in Manchester and bin bags are piled high in a drop-off point used by charity Care4Calais, filled with items such as clothes and toiletries.
The charity has also already passed its initial £30,000 fundraiser
