The Gotham Awards' nominees for best film of 2020 were all directed by women

Dave McNary Film Reporter“Waikiki” and “Hawaiian Soul” won the Made in Hawai’i awards at the the 40th edition of the Hawai’i International Film Festival.The awards were announced at a virtual gala held Sunday.

With December right around the corner, it’s time for endless “best of” lists, and this year John Waters returns with his signature early and peculiar selection of best movies of the year.
