He also appeared in films including Shakespeare in Love (1998), Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (2004), Batman Begins (2005) and The Grand Budapest Hotel (2014). He died suddenly at home on Saturday (December 30) with his wife and family, they said in a statement.
