EXCLUSIVE: Fox is putting up some strong numbers with its new game show, The Floor.
The Rob Lowe-hosted series’ premiere episode, which aired on January 2, has amassed 4.4M multi-platform viewers after seven days of viewing, according to Nielsen data. That’s a 73% boost from the 2.5M who tuned in same-day.
About 1.1M of those delayed viewers came from Hulu, according to Fox. That makes it the network’s most-streamed game show ever (other Fox game shows include I Can See Your Voice, Beat Shazam and Name That Tune).
The total audience also marks the network’s most-watched Tuesday unscripted debut in more than 13 years, since Masterchef premiered in 2010.
Fox shows a sneak peek of The Floor on Christmas day after the Giants-Eagles matchup, which surely helped pique interest in the series, considering that eight-minute preview had 8.7M live + same-day viewers.
This week, The Floor brought in 2.7M L+SD viewers for its latest episode on Tuesday. It has managed to grow its audience incrementally each week it has aired, this week marking the most-watched Tuesday unscripted series telecast in over three and a half years, since a 2020 episode of The Masked Singer.
