Though Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are set to step down as senior royals on March 31, they're still highlighting the message of Queen Elizabeth II — literally! On Thursday, the queen shared words of comfort to the people of Great Britain and the world, and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex reposted the statement. 

Queen Elizabeth issued an official statement as she and Prince Philip were headed to Windsor. The Queen mentions in her statement that the Royal family is ready to play their part amid COVID 19 scare.

Following the March 17 announcement that she and her husband, Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, 98, would be self-isolating in Windsor Castle, Queen Elizabeth II, 93, made her first statement since making the crucial move. “As Philip and I arrive at Windsor today, we know that many individuals and families across the United Kingdom, and around the world, are entering a period of great concern and uncertainty,” the Queen’s statement began.

News has confirmed. Meghan Markle and Prince Harry joined his grandmother Queen Elizabeth II at a church service on Sunday, marking the first public reunion between the Duchess of Sussex and the British monarch since the couple moved to Canada late last year ahead of a planned official exit from the royal family. The Duke of Sussex was photographed driving his wife to the Royal Chapel of All Saints in Windsor Great Park, while the queen, 93, was seen being driven to the venue in a different vehicle.

A source confirms to BAZAAR.com that Prince Harry and Queen Elizabeth II have had a meeting since Harry's return to the United Kingdom. The two met for a casual lunch as grandmother and grandson.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will both be back in the UK for the annual occasion commemorating the commonwealth, to be held at Westminster Abbey on March 9 - but Prince Andrew will be absent from the event.

It's not looking like Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's son, Archie, will be making the trip back to his birthplace this month when his mother joins his father in the United Kingdom. ET has learned that 9-month-old Archie is expected to remain in Canada while his parents fulfill their last duties as senior members of the royal family.
