Mark Labbett has left fans stunned after showing off his huge weight-loss in a recent photo.
The Chase quizzer, also known as his ITV nickname 'The Beast', has undergone an impressive transformation in recent years having lost around 10 stone. The 58-year-old has dramatically overhauled his lifestyle in recent years after being diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes in 2016.
Sharing an update to social media, Mark posted a selfie where he could be seen smiling in front of the mirror with The Chase on the TV screen in the background. Mark's co-star Shaun Wallace, known on the show as 'The Dark Destroyer', could be seen answering questions on the ITV show on his TV.
He captioned the snap: "About to turn into the Beast :) #thechase," as fans rushed to the comments claiming they almost couldn't recognise him. One fan wrote: "Almost didn't recognise you, wondered who this was on my feed. Done well, and more importantly you look happy!"
Another penned: "Great pic Mark looking well," as someone else wrote: "Wow you look amazing well done Mark." A fourth added: "Mark, your weight loss is amazing….you look great and I miss seeing you on The Chase here in the States. Enjoy your day!"
Mark recently shared the secret to his weight loss on Loose Women, where he once again denied rumours he went under the knife. He told viewers: "I think one of the pluses of having what may or may not have been Covid a few times is that I just lost my appetite."
He added: "My appetite is nothing like it once was. Get one of your doctors to check me for a gastric band scar. They won't find it!"
