A popular YouTube star has sadly passed away. Melanie Ham, 36, died earlier this month of cancer. Her husband, Robert, shared the devastating news via Instagram on January 12. “If you’ve been following our journey I’m sure you were, like us, hopeful she could defeat this insidious disease,” Robert wrote. “Over the past few months things have been progressively getting worse and we’re thankful that we made it to this point through the holidays and tried to make every moment count.” Robert went on to say that Melanie “fought like a warrior queen” throughout her cancer struggles.

Scots actor George Rossi, who starred in The Bill, has died at the age of 61, his heartbroken family have confirmed.
The actor was best known for his role in ITV’s retro favourite The Bill as DC Duncan Lennox, a gruff Scots detective with a good sense of humour.
Rossi, who was born in Glasgow’s Govan, played the role from 1998 to 2003 in the police drama.
Rossi's niece made the announcement of his passing on Twitter, confirming he had died on January 5.
Louisa Rossi said in her Tweet: “Unfortunately George Rossi who played DC Duncan Lennox passed away the morning of Wednesday 5th January 2022.”
She confirmed that her uncle George had been acting until recently.
Rossi is survived by his wife Catrin and two children, according to Mirror Online.
The actor also appeared in Taggart, Holby City, The Singing Detective and Whitechapel during his career.
He made his debut in 1984 movie Comfort & Joy, in which he starred alongside his brother Peter.
And after his time on The Bill, he went on to play roles in the likes of Doctors and Casualty.
His final credited role on IMDb was in 2020’s Le Cineaste - A Director’s Journey.
He worked alongside some of Hollywood’s biggest names too, including Scream’s David Arquette, X-Men’s Famke Janssen and Speed star Sandra Bullock.
After the tragic news emerged, his close friend and casting director Claire Toeman said in tribute: “Rest in peace George Rossi you were the dearest of friends you will be sorely missed.”
She said that George’s role in The Bill saw him become a “firm favourite” among fans, adding that “he will always be remembered for portraying one of the most popular faces on The Bill in the late nineties”.
