Listen to Greentea Peng’s spiritual new song ‘Look To Him’

Greentea Peng has returned with a spiritual new song called ‘Look To Him’ – listen below. The new track follows the track ‘Your Mind’, which was shared back in March, and is a precursor to a new project from the singer that is touted to drop “imminently”.“‘Look To Him’ explores the idea of originality and the notion of tapping into source energy for creativity and inspiration rather than just searching for it amongst your peers and surroundings,” Greentea Peng said of the new song in a statement.“At the same time, it challenges the idea that anything is truly original as nothing is truly our own rather seeped into us from a Higher Power and thus channelled from God him/herself.”Listen to ‘Look To Him’ below.Earlier this year, Greentea Peng cancelled her March UK headline tour due to the uncertainty caused by COVID-19. “If it was just me on the mic over a track it would be different but manoeuvring a 6 piece band plus team is a different story and we need time, full energy and a lot of money to make shit happen.

Pink Pantheress and Sam Gellaitry share new song/video “Picture in my mind”

The rise of PinkPantheress last year is one of those rare instances where describing someone as an "overnight success" is actually quite accurate. A pattern emerged at the start of the London teenager's musical career: she'd release a highly addictive song snippet on her TikTok account, it would go viral, then she'd make another one.

Last month indie pop band Alvvays returned after a five year break with new song "Pharmacist" and details of an upcoming album. Today the band are offering up a second taste of Blue Rev, due October 7, in the shape of "Easy On Your Own?" "Easy On Your Own?," much like "Pharmacist," is a richly melodic pop jam, but where that first single kept things sweet and light this one goes a little darker with the band exploring shoegaze-y textures in the production.

Pixies share new single ‘Vault Of Heaven’, announce four-date run of US shows

Pixies have shared the latest preview of their forthcoming eighth album, ‘Doggerel’ – an equally smoky and melodic cut of alt-rock titled ‘Vault Of Heaven’ – announcing with it a short run of US tour dates. The song itself features an allusion to a bad drug trip and copious references to 7-Eleven, as Black Francis (aka Frank Black) sings in the first verse: “There in the vault of heaven / While trying to titrate / I ended up in… / Another case. I went to 7-Eleven / To try and get me straight / I ended up there… / In outer space.”‘Vault Of Heaven’ arrives alongside a suitably wacky music video, directed by Charles Derenne.
