Fox has released some of the first trailers for its new comedies and dramas as part of its series orders for the 2021-22 season. You can watch above and below.

Joe Otterson TV ReporterFox unveiled its 2021 fall schedule as part of its upfront presentation, with the network announcing renewals for a number of its shows.Both “9-1-1” and “9-1-1: Lone Star” were renewed, as was the medical drama “The Resident.” “9-1-1” will lead off Fox Monday’s this fall, while “Lone Star” is being held for midseason. “The Resident” is set to kick off Tuesdays for network in the 8 p.m.

It was a long, pandemic-impacted broadcast development cycle, with some pilots taking a year to get produced, but the broadcast networks have made their picks for new scripted series to debut in fall 2021 as well as the bulk of their decisions for new midseason 2022 shows. (The CW is still evaluating its pilots, while ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox will have a handful of pilots that will be filmed off-cycle for midseason consideration.)
