Revenues at Imax climbed 55% to $60 million for the three-month period ending in April, which the company attributed to the popularity of the comic book reboot, as well as to the appeal of some special events like the re-release of “Get Back,” a documentary about The Beatles that initially debuted on Disney +. “Spider-Man: No Way Home,” the superhero sequel that dominated the holiday box office, continued to put up impressive numbers into 2022.

Back to the Batcave. Robert Pattinson‘s caped crusader will return in a sequel to the March 2022 film The Batman.

Robert Pattinson will reprise his role as Batman in a sequel to the hit film, it has been reported.

The work-in-progress trailer shows Barry Allen working on a mysterious experiment that could open up the DC multiverse. Inspired by the landmark comic “Flashpoint,” the film will see The Flash travel across various multiverses, encountering other versions of himself as well as a version of Supergirl from an alternate timeline.

All of Warner’s upcoming DC films were showcased in a presentation hosted by Aisha Tyler, including a surprise appearance by Dwayne Johnson to present his one-two summer punch of “Black Adam” and “DC League of Super Pets” and give shoutouts to several of the top theater execs in attendance. James Wan appeared to discuss next year’s “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom,” and the studio’s holiday offering, “Shazam: Fury of the Gods,” was also featured with a new trailer and a special appearance from Zachary Levi and the film’s cast, including Helen Mirren as the villain Hespera, leader of the daughters of Atlas.And as fans and industry insiders have expected, a sequel to “The Batman” was announced with director Matt Reeves and star Robert Pattinson returning.

In news that won’t be much of a surprise to anyone, today, at CinemaCon, Warner Bros. chief Toby Emmerich announced a sequel to Matt Reeves’ successful “The Batman” is in the works with Robert Pattinson in the lead once more.

Rebecca Rubin Film and Media Reporter“The Batman” is getting a sequel, with Robert Pattinson set to return as Gotham’s fiercest defender.Warner Bros. revealed its plans for another Caped Crusader story during its Tuesday evening presentation at CinemaCon, the annual trade show for theater owners. “The Batman” director Matt Reeves was on hand to announce the news that he will write and direct the follow-up, but he did not provide any details about what the movie will entail.“The Batman,” a gritty three-hour superhero adventure, debuted on the big screen in March, kicking off with $134 million domestically.

TMZ reported.It's not clear where Cary was bitten, but he is expected to make a full recovery.Cary recently began filming "Rebel Moon," but it's not known if the snake bite will affect production. Just last week, Cary retweeted images from the set of the Zack Snyder flick. The actor has seen his fair share of injuries.

“The Batman,” fans immediately began speculating as to how his take on the Caped Crusader would differ from what came before. With such an iconic character, it’s impossible not to compare different takes on the role – especially in the immediate wake of Christian Bale’s iconic (and beloved) performance in The Dark Knight Trilogy.But one area in which Pattinson’s Batman diverged from the pack is his masked vigilante doesn’t attempt to mask his speaking voice when conversing as Batman.

Batgirl star Leslie Grace has described Michael Keaton’s return as Batman in the forthcoming DC film as “surreal”.The actor said the first moment Keaton returned on set as Bruce Wayne/Batman, for the first time in 30 years, was “wild for everyone”.“Our directors were like two little kids. They’re legit Batman nerds openly,” Grace said of Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah while in conversation with Variety.“He’s Batman, man! I couldn’t even believe that I was sharing space with Batman.”She added of working with Keaton: “It was insane, surreal, incredible.

“The Batman,” now streaming on HBO Max and available for purchase on various digital platforms, is full of breathlessly rendered set pieces that rank amongst the best in modern superhero cinema – Batman’s Halloween-night prowling; the finale in the stadium; Batman’s visit to Falcone’s club. But there’s one scene that stands out above all the others – the very rainy nighttime car chase. (“The Batman” is so overwhelmingly rainy it makes “Seven” look like “Lawrence of Arabia.”)  In the sequence, Bruce Wayne/Batman (Robert Pattinson) is going after the Penguin (an unrecognizable Colin Farrell) in his souped up Batmobile, which is perhaps the most hot-rod-y version of the iconic car ever captured on film.

Batman in Zack Snyder’s DC films before the role ended up going to Ben Affleck.The actor – who already has an impressive comic book film resume, playing Thanos in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Cable in Deadpool 2 – discussed how he almost donned the mask of the caped crusader on a recent episode of the Happy Sad Confused podcast.Calling the idea of taking on the role “interesting”, Brolin emphasised that he was eager to play Batman, had Snyder not decided to go in a different direction. “That was his decision – that wasn’t my decision,” Brolin explained.The actor then shared a few details of what his portrayal of the superhero was supposed to look like following a discussion with Snyder. “It would have been the older, more raspy, for lack of a better word,” he said.
