As hay fever season arrives, one mum is raving about a budget-friendly product that can help tackle the symptoms.
The Met Office has issued a warning over pollen levels this week, with the news bringing misery to hay fever sufferers in the coming days. But in a bid to tackle the annoying and often painful result of high pollen levels, one parent has pointed to cheap relief provided by popular high street retailers.
The hay fever release wipes, available from Amazon, Savers, Sainsbury's, Asda and The Range, are said to "remove and trap pollen" from the face and hands. The wipes, made by Nuage, can be purchased online for just 89p, giving sufferers or those with kids struck down by hay fever a cheap and effective option for tackling symptoms, reports the Mirror.
The product description online reads: "These incredible hayfever relief wipes from Nuage help trap Pollen and prevent it from reaching the eyes, working miracles to relieve and prevent hay fever symptoms.
"These are the best and most effective option for instant hay fever relief, as they work straight away to relieve symptoms, unlike traditional hay fever medication."
The 30 pack of wipes can also benefit those who suffer from other allergies - such as dust and pet allergies - as well as pollen-related illnesses.
Taking to social media to share the find, the mum praised the wipes which has help her son get his "life back".
In a post on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook page, she said: "Just a tip for anyone who suffers badly from hay fever. My son has tried everything going but these wipes gave him his life back! The wipes are soaked in peppermint and tea tree oil so really soothe the skin and eyes and trap the pollen."
