A teenager has been rushed to hospital after disturbance in Coatbridge street.
Police swooped on Highcross Avenue shortly after 12.35pm after locals reported a 'stabbing' in a residential street.
The 19-year-old was rushed to Monklands Hospital with an arm injury.
One eyewitness told the Daily Record cops have taped off the area and officers have started searching the street.
They said: "Police have an area taped off and are searching the street.
"There’s blood everywhere."
