A teenager accused of murdering schoolboy Alex Rodda has pleaded not guilty.
Matthew Mason, 19, denied murdering 15-year-old Alex during a short hearing at Chester Crown Court on Friday morning (February 21).
He appeared in court via a video link from HMP Altcourse.
Alex’s body was discovered on Ashley Mill Lane in the Cheshire village of Ashley - just over the border from Hale in Trafford - on Friday, December 13 last year.
