A teenage boy was stabbed during a terrifying attempted robbery at a tram stop in south Manchester.
Police have detained a 15-year-old boy in connection with the stabbing, which took place at around 7.30pm on Friday (August 27) at East Didsbury Metrolink station.
The 17-year-old victim was approached by a group of four men - who he didn’t know - who then tried to rob him, police said.
