Taylor Swift now has more than 30 songs to choose from for her concerts, so she’s keeping herself interested – and fans on the edge of their seats – with a few changes to the setlist for her record-breaking Eras Tour.
Friday night saw her take to the stage for her second evening in Paris, where she surprised fans with My Boy Only Breaks His Favourite Toys – from her latest album The Tortured Poets Department – and also a mash up of two songs from her 1989 album, Is It Over Now? and Out of the Woods.
While some fans in the crowd expressed their delight at the new material, others were left dismayed by what had to go to make room for the new stuff in the three-hour show.
The Daily Mail reports that fans took to social media to lament the disappearance of classic favourites including Tolerate It, Long Live, The Archer and The 1.
Swift’s Eras tour, which she will take to Sweden and Portugal before heading to the UK in June, is set to become the most profitable tour ever, with projected ticket sales of $1.4billion.
Billboard reports that, two weeks after its release, The Tortured Poets Department has now surpassed more than two million US sales, the 11th album by Swift to do.
