'Tall Girl' Star Ava Michelle Reflects One Year After Her Late Brother's Accidental Death

New Girl star Ralph Ahn has died aged 95. The actor, who played the fan-favourite role of Tran opposite Jake Johnson’s Nick on the popular American sitcom, died on 26 February, the Korean American Federation of Los Angeles (Kafla) said. Johnson was among those to pay tribute after news of Ahn’s death emerged.

Kevin Costner has paid fresh tribute to Whitney Houston as he reflected on her death at the SAG Awards.The actor starred in the hit 1992 film alongside the late singer, who passed away in 2012, playing the titular bodyguard to Houston’s character Rachel Marron.Speaking on the SAG red carpet last night (February 27), Costner was asked about how he keeps the late star’s spirit alive 10 years after her death.“When movies are working at their very best, they’re about moments and images that you’ll never ever forget,” he told People.Referring to Houston’s hit cover of Dolly Parton‘s ‘I Will Always Love You’, the star continued: “I don’t think we’ll ever forget when that little song came out, that she just blew up. She sang the first part of it a cappella and musically the world was never the same.“We have a moment of her in that movie we’ll never ever forget that and I think that when movies are working at their best, that’s what can happen.”Houston passed away on February 11, 2012 after accidentally drowning in a bathtub following a drug overdose.The Bodyguard became a huge hit when it was released, becoming one of the highest-grossing films of all time in 1992, while its soundtrack still holds the record for the biggest-selling soundtrack of all time.

Dave Grohl failed to name Foo Fighters songs during a game on The Late Late Show With James Corden this week.The musician, who was joined on the talk show sofa by actress Hilary Duff, was tasked with guessing which songs the show’s host Corden was attempting to play on keyboard – despite him not knowing how to play the piano.A visibly frustrated Grohl failed to to guess a single song, shouting at one point: “Just play the fucking song, man!” You can watch his attempt at ‘James That Tune’ in the clip below.The first song ended up being Foo Fighters’ ‘Learn to Fly’, while the second tune was ‘My Hero’ – both of which were unrecognisable from their original compositions.Grohl was on the programme to discuss Foo Fighters’ new horror-comedy film Studio 666, which is released in cinemas tomorrow (February 25).The movie follows the bandmembers as they move into a mansion in Encino, California that is “steeped in grisly rock and roll history” to record a new album. Once they’ve arrived, though, Grohl “finds himself grappling with supernatural forces that threaten both the completion of the album and the lives of the band”.
