Speaking to SFGATE on the red carpet (via Entertainment Weekly), Fraser issued a humorous apology to the city of San Francisco due to a traffic jam the “George of the Jungle” production caused over 25 years ago. Mill Valley is about 14 miles north of San Francisco. “When we were doing ‘George of the Jungle,’ George goes to rescue a parachutist tangled in the Golden Gate Bridge,” Fraser said, citing the Golden Gate Bridge instead of the San Francisco–Oakland Bay Bridge which was featured in the film. “That means Disney put a mannequin hanging by a parachute from the uprights. It brought traffic to a standstill on either side of the bridge.”

Frank Turner‘s touring band — have debuted their first single, titled ‘Liar Lover’.The four-piece outfit released the track on Friday (October 14), featuring Turner’s guitar technician Cahir O’Doherty on vocals. A San Francisco city council member who suggested that the Blue Angels should be banned from the city’s airspace expressed his frustration Sunday about outside criticism of the city and its policies.  District 5 Supervisor Dean Preston, a self-described Democratic socialist, asked why so many outside San Francisco – with no connection to the Bay Area – are "so focused on San Francisco housing policy and constantly attacking SF tenants, BIPOC residents, and progressive local elected officials? The Blue Angels' scheduled show in San Francisco, California, for Fleet Week was canceled Sunday due to weather conditions, and a Democrat city council member suggested the planes not be permitted in the city's skies. District 5 Supervisor Dean Preston, a self-described Democratic socialist, said the planes should be banned from the city's airspace. "The Blue Angels should not be allowed to fly over San Francisco," he wrote on Twitter.

Tyler, the Creator’s Camp Flog Gnaw festival will not return to Los Angeles in 2022.Festival organisers are instead planning for its 2023 return, which would end its four-year absence.The rapper’s manager, Chris Clancy, told Billboard that the reason is “really not that deep”.“Tyler toured all year and was busy with a number of projects. Reading the tea leaves and what’s happening with festivals coming out of the pandemic, we thought it would be best to come back next year,” he said.The last Camp Flog Gnaw was held in 2019.

Taissa Farmiga is returning to star in “The Nun 2” for New Line Cinema and will reprise her role as Sister Irene in the horror franchise that’s part of “The Conjuring” universe of films, an individual with knowledge of the project told TheWrap.Michael Chaves,” who directed “The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It,” is on board to direct the sequel to 2018’s “The Nun” that also starred Farmiga. She will also join the previously announced Storm Reid in the cast.The first “The Nun” film was directed by Corin Hardy and is a prequel to “The Conjuring 2.” It explored the origins of the terrifying nun figure introduced, with Farmiga playing a young nun on the verge of performing her final vows and sent to Romania to investigate the death of a young nun and the malevolent force behind another demonic nun.
