Jojo Rabbit director Taika Waititi has been given the job of bringing the latest Star Wars spin-off to the big screen.
The Thor: Ragnarok filmmaker, who directed an episode of The Mandalorian, will co-write the new movie with Krysty Wilson-Cairns, who collaborated with Sam Mendes on the screenplay for 1917.
Disney bosses have confirmed the news, but they are offering no details about the new Star Wars film.
