Sziget Festival announces acts for new “unique electronic venue”

Burna Boy has announced the release of his next album, ‘Love, Damini’.The ‘On The Low’ hitmaker became the first Nigerian artist to headline a concert at New York’s Madison Square Garden on Thursday night (April 28).During the show, Burna Boy revealed his new album will be called ‘Love, Damini’, which a press release later stated “is set to release for his 31st birthday,” which would be July 2.However, according to Pitchfork, representatives for the artist have said his sixth LP does not currently have a firm release date.‘Love, Damini’ will be the follow-up to Burna Boy’s 2020 album, the Grammy-winning ‘Twice As Tall’. Since releasing the LP, he’s released numerous singles, including ’20 10 20′, ‘Kilometre’, ‘Question’, ‘Want It All’, and ‘B.

Justin Bieber has shared a new song featuring Don Toliver called ‘Honest’ – check it out below.The hip-hop track the Canadian pop star’s first official single since ‘Ghost’.The video, which is directed by Cole Bennett, shows Bieber and Toliver snowbound as they lose their way – check out the video here:On Wednesday (April 27), Bieber released the song and spoof video for ‘I Feel Funny’, filmed in between takes for an epic video for ‘Honest’.  Bennett directed both videos.Talking about making the spoof video, Bennett said: “Justin randomly texted me this song one day and said “should we do a visual to this? song straight to number 1.” We joked around about doing a video for it but never did.“A few weeks later we were doing a pick up day for a video we had recently shot, but never finished (‘Honest’).

Sam Fender has shared dates for an upcoming North American headline tour, which is set to kick off this July in Toronto.The new round of shows comes after the announcement that Fender will be supporting select dates of Florence + The Machine’s US tour, including a stop at New York City’s Madison Square Garden on September 16.The headline tour is also set to stop in New York City on August 9 and in Los Angeles on August 15. Sam Fender has announced details of an intimate charity show that he’ll play in Newcastle next month.The ‘Seventeen Going Under’ artist will return to his native north east on May 24 for a special gig at Newcastle’s O2 City Hall, marking the first time that he will have played live at the 2600-capacity venue.The show will raise money for North East Homeless, who provide support to those who are vulnerable and homeless in the north east of England, as well as food and emergency equipment at street outreach sessions.Fender, who is a patron of the charity, dedicated his BRIT Award for Alternative/Rock Act to the organisation back in February.This is going to be next level. The Kid LAROI has shared his first new music of 2022 – a single entitled ‘Thousand Miles’.The song, released today (April 22), is the official follow-up to last July’s ‘Stay’ with Justin Bieber. That song went on to be the most successful of LAROI’s career, hitting Number One in over 20 countries and achieving multiple Platinum certifications – including seven in his native Australia.‘Thousand Miles’ was co-written by LAROI with Andrew Watman, Louis Bell and Billy Walsh.

Stevie Nicks, Jack White and Pink have been announced to headline Eddie Vedder’s Ohana Festival in California this autumn.Vedder, who will also play a solo headline set, topped the bill on all three nights of last year’s event after it returned following a one-year hiatus due to the COVID pandemic.The festival at Dana Point will also feature Broken Social Scene performing ‘You Forgot It In People’, and other sets by St. Vincent, Khruangbin, Brittany Howard, Manchester Orchestra, Kevin Morby, Gang Of Youths, Bomba Estereo, Noga Erez, Billy Strings and many others.Ohana Festival, which launched in 2016, runs from August 30-September 2, 2022.
