EXCLUSIVE: Ozie Nzeribe (Swagger) has joined the cast of the Tubi film Rock The Boat 2, a project by Footage Films directed by Chris Stokes and producer Marques Houston.
The film follows Millie (Parker Mckenna), who, after losing her memory of her tragic past, tries to pick up the pieces but is terrified when chaos follows her and her friends’ every move.
Nzeribe will play Durell, a young and witty brainiac who’s a bit of a nerd who gets invited to a weekend getaway with his cousin’s friend. Once they are all at the lake house everyone’s motives change.
The cast also includes Parker McKenna, Loretta Devine, Zonnique Pullins, Katlynn Simone, Cynthia Bailey, Iyana Halley, Justin Sweat, Judi Johnson, Jarell Houston, Carnetta Jones, Khylin Rhambo, Dwight Boyce, Janina Gordillo, Farrah Hines, Steven Littles, Alimi Ballard, Shah Granville and Candice Marie.
Stokes serves as executive producer, writer and director of Rock The Boat 2. In addition to Stokes, EPs include Jarell Houston and Marques B Houston. Houston and Juanita Stokes produce.

Brent Lang Executive Editor When Michael Angarano was trying to get “Sacramento,” his indie buddy comedy about two friends who go on a road trip to a certain state capital off the ground, the question he’d get was always the same. Does it really need to be set in Sacramento? “At one point we were ready to shoot the movie in Atlanta — we had the financing and everything,” remembers Angarano, who directed the film, as well as co-wrote it. “And this was for a movie called ‘Sacramento.’ But it’s like why try to cheat it?
