"So the problem is if this movie fails people go, ‘Oh, Latino stories don’t work.’ ‘Oh, female directors really don’t cut it.’" She added, "We don’t get a lot of at-bats.

The announcement was made today by Max Einhorn, SVP of acquisitions and co-productions at FilmRise, Christine Cauquelin, head of documentaries at Canal+ and Van Tassel, who is also producing the feature.

She joined demonstrators from the nonprofit organization One Fair Wage, which fights for fair wages for tipped workers. «TODAY: Susan Sarandon, Ana Maria Archila, & tipped worker moms & their children got arrested at the NY State Capitol, demanding that #OneFairWage gets passed in Albany before Mother's Day,» an Instagram post from the organization read. «WE DEMAND THE FULL MINIMUM WAGE PLUS TIPS. STOP LEAVING US OUT.»While Sarandon has not issued a statement on her arrest, she could be seen in footage from the protest chanting «one fair wage,» wearing a One Fair Wage-branded shirt, and helping to hold up a large banner.

To correct the issue, Morgan was told to go on six weeks of vocal rest. In fact, the country superstar was told to refrain from speaking as much as possible. In all, 14 shows — from May 18 to June 17 — are being rescheduled.

King Charles III is upset about being separated from two of his five grandchildren, a royal expert told Fox News Digital. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's two kids were missing from Charles' historic ceremony as the actress stayed behind in California.The decision was apparently made due to the coronation being the same day as Prince Archie's fourth birthday. Despite the absence of the little royal, King Charles made a toast to Archie in honor of his birthday, the Daily Mail reported.
