Former Strictly Come Dancing star Seann Walsh has admitted to his guilt over his kiss with Katya Jones in 2018. Images and a video of Seann and pro dancer Katya were released in October 2018, which showed the pair kissing at a pub in Central London. At the time, the smooch came as a massive shock to everyone, especially as Katya was married to fellow professional Neil Jones, while Seann was in a relationship with then-girlfriend Rebecca Humphries.
Rebecca swiftly dumped Seann after what happened and accused Seann of gaslighting her when she voiced her suspicions that he wasn't being faithful to her. Seann has now spoken of the effect his cheating scandal had on Rebecca. Speaking on the new Prime Video show Backstage With Katherine Ryan, which starts on June 9, Seann said of his ex: "What you are thinking about is: 'What have you done to someone?' "It's one thing doing that privately, and I don't judge anyone because everyone's got their own backstory, lives or whatever.
It was horrific. It was crazy." Seann went on to admit the situation was a shame as he "has such amazing memories of being on that show and then the repercussions of that kiss, it was crazy." He explained: "I'm just a comic. I can't go near anything Strictly, I can't.
It just messes my head up. "One day, I hope I can look back at that fondly, that first few weeks because it was the best time of my life," Seann concluded. Last year, Seann admitted that his kiss with Katya "changed his life forever".
